PRE-K/TK CAMPS

A bit about our Pre-K/TK offerings…

At Latin Camps, our Pre-k/TK camps are designed for 3.5-5 year olds who are ready for an introduction into the summer camp setting. With a variety of engaging camp themes, campers will engage in expressive play, outdoor exploration, and a variety of enriching activities lead by our incredible instructors.

All Pre-k/TK camps are held at the Nest, Charlotte Latin School’s very own early childhood education center. This location ensures that campers have access to developmentally appropriate furniture, bathrooms, toys, and outdoor equipment. Group sizes are small by design to ensure the best possible experience for each camper. While the focus of camp is fun and friendship, campers are sure to practice and strengthen important school readiness skills.

Is my child ready for camp?

While deciding if your child is ready for camp, please consider the following tasks they will be asked to complete daily:

  • Change clothes when needed

  • Carry their own lunch tray

  • Use the restroom independently

  • Practice good hand-washing habits

  • Clean up after themselves

  • Safely interact with others in group settings

  • Participate in activities

  • Remain with their group rather than wandering off
